Charity Auction September 2026
Worthing Mind Charity Auction
Every painting begins with a feeling before it becomes an image, and For What Comes Next was one of those pieces that grew from a quiet moment of reflection.
I painted it while thinking about those times in life that don't come with clear answers. The moments after we've been through something difficult, when the noise begins to fade but the future still feels unwritten. There can be uncertainty, but also a gentle sense of possibility—a feeling that we're ready for whatever comes next, even if we don't yet know what that is.
Rather than depicting a specific place, I wanted this seascape to feel open and expansive. The sea becomes less about a location and more about a state of mind. Somewhere to pause, breathe, and simply look towards the horizon.
Supporting Worthing Mind
This painting has been donated to the Worthing Mind Charity Art Auction and is no longer available to purchase through my website.
The online auction runs from 18–30 September as part of the Worthing Art Trail, with every penny raised supporting local mental health services through Worthing Mind.
Mental health is something that touches so many lives, and I'm honoured to be contributing a piece to help raise funds for such an important local charity. While Worthing Mind is affiliated with the national Mind organisation, it relies heavily on local fundraising to continue providing vital support within our community. Events like this auction make a genuine difference.
