The sea has always been a place where I can slow down and switch off, and that's the feeling I wanted to capture in Elements of the Day. Rather than painting a specific coastline, I wanted to create something that brings together the colours, textures and atmosphere of being by the water.
The soft blues, sandy neutrals and textured surface make this a versatile piece that sits beautifully in calm, contemporary interiors. Whether it's displayed in a living room, hallway or bedroom, I hope it brings a sense of light, space and quiet to the room.
